Our children Mohammed Affan and Mohammed Yusuff did their primary and middle school from Riyadh Saudi Arabia. We planned to move our children to India for higher Education for which we had visited multiple schools in Mysore but finally with the inputs from some of the teachers we planned to visit DPS Mysore .After over interaction with the faculty members we decided to choose DPS Mysore. This turned out to be a very good decision, a gentle transition to mainstream education. The class sizes were never huge, so their teachers always were in touch with each and every child. They strived to maintain a relationship of loving authority with the children.

My daughter switched the school from NPS to DPS as we got transferred from Gulbarga to Mysore. Searching for a school was tough and I came to know about DPS which is good at academic and other activities. We love the teacher presence around the ground of the school in the morning and in the home time. This takes away the anxiety of parents that she is safe. I always feel that the school creates a very positive approach, which seems to run throughout the school and is very evident if you attend any school events. The access for parents to show home work is excellent as I know our child’s time table, behavior and home work. Delhi Public School has given a great platform to my daughter Pavni Gianani. She is in class 2 C and soon moving to class 3. The School has also organized all kind of Practical learnings from Science exhibition to giving knowledge about all the Festivals of India. She had a wonderful time during celebration of Harvest Festival. The school fully supports the children whose first language is not Kannada. During the Annual Day Function my child got the opportunity to show case her dancing and singing ability. She made us very proud. My son was 3 years old when the Covid pandemic hit us all hard. No doubt those covid days built the bond in a family which was really the need of the hour as we all humans were becoming too busy without giving time for our own families.. & simultaneously it started to build fear in me to send my child to school or not or to opt for online classes or what...?
But I feared for my child’s safety and didn't send him to any physical classes back then or any Kindergarten etc. Then in 2022 when my Son was around 6 years old & as life became normal, being a parent of a 6 year old my biggest responsibility started at this moment as a parent wondering which school will be best & how things will be as he was going to the school for the first time.

It gives me immense pleasure to talk about DPS Mysore. A school which focuses on all round development of a child and nurtures the pupil in every aspect. It was 2020 and I was moving from namma Bengaluru to Mysuru City where my heart and soul lies. I was searching for a school for my son and I was clear on my expectations that the school not only should focus on studies but help the child excel in all his interests and lay a strong foundation for his future.
I couldn’t think of any other school other than DPS Mysore. With all the research I did and the reviews I got, DPS Mysore was not a choice of regret. It was pandemic time and all the schools were getting adopted to new norm of teaching and DPSM was no different. But the management and teachers of DPSM went an extra mile in making sure the child was not getting pressurized with the new method of teaching and yet they ensured that all the syllabus was completed to the child’s and parents satisfaction.
DPSM comes with a huge campus which focuses on the overall development of the child from all aspects. Not just on education, the school has a very large playground and gives equal importance to the sports needs of students and has skilled sports educators. It offers extracurricular activities like swimming, music and hobby classes other than sports to aid students pursue their interests. Labs are set up to help students gain more practical knowledge of subjects which is very essential in today’s competitive world
No second word on teaching. Teachers are highly skilled and come with vast experience in teaching. Every student is given individual attention and there is a good bondage between teachers and students. Children love going to school. What else can a parent can aspire for. DPSM encourages children to take part in events like Olympiad, Spell Bee etc., which is organized by CBSE and they get involved in preparing students for the same. This boosts children’s morale and helps to bring the best out of them.
