At DPSM, we are proud of our caring, inclusive ethos, where we set high standards and expectations for our students to achieve and behave at their very best. It is a moment of great honour and adulation as Mr. Mohd. Aqeeb Khan, Director DPS Mysore, and the Director Principal, Mrs. Manju Sharma, received the trophy and Certificate of Excellence for Excellence in CBSE Curriculum Education with Best Infrastructure, on behalf of the entire teaching and learning community of Delhi Public School, Mysore. This special award was felicitated by the Times Group at the Times Business Award Mysuru 2023. The school was recognised for promoting value-based, holistic education. The award marks the school’s efforts in providing holistic education in sync with necessary 21st-century skills.
02. INTEL A.I. READY AWARD
A matter of scaling pride, Delhi Public School in Mysore has been certified by Intel as the first A.I. READY SCHOOL in the district.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the key driver of growth and innovation across all industries, and the education sector is no different. According to eLearning, AI has the power to optimise both learning and teaching, helping the education sector evolve to better students and teachers alike. The A.I. AWARENESS programme was successfully completed for the teaching staff, students of Grade 4 to 12 and support staff to achieve this digital readiness.
03. SWACHH VIDYALAYA PURASKAR
DPS Mysore is also the proud recipient of the district-level Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskara 2021-2022 conferred by the Department of Education, Govt. of India.
The Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar has been instituted by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to recognise, inspire, and celebrate excellence in sanitation and hygiene practice in schools.
Under this award, schools are rated on six broad parameters: (a) Water (b) Toilets (c) Handwashing with Soap (d) Operation and Maintenance (e) Behaviour Change and Capacity building and (f) COVID-19 (Preparedness and Response). The Puraskar is given at District, State and National level.
