State-Level Hockey Tournament

We are thrilled to share that our school’s boys’ and girls’ hockey teams showcased exceptional talent at the State-Level Hockey Tournament organized by Kreeda Bharathi Mysore on Sunday, 19^th January 2025.With outstanding performances, our teams proudly secured the winners and runners-up positions.

Aquatic championship

Delhi Public School, Mysore, proudly hosted the Interschool Aquatic Championship 2024-25, bringing together around 200 talented swimmers from schools across Mysore. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Skanda R. Aswath, a national-level swimmer, whose presence inspired the young athletes to dive deeper into their potential.

It was a spectacular celebration of sportsmanship, skill and passion as the participants made a splash and showcased their aquatic prowess in an unforgettable competition! Adding to the excitement, Delhi Public School, Mysore, emerged as the overall champions, marking a proud moment for the host school.

DPS Mysore Shines at Gurukul Olympics 2024!

We are proud to announce our double victory at the Gurukul Olympics Inter-School Leather Ball Cricket Tournament 2024!

U-12 Champions: Defeated St. Arnold’s with a stellar performance, scoring 93/2 and bowling them out for 34.

U-15 Champions: Outplayed NPS in the finals, posting 65/1 and securing a solid 28-run win.

CBSE South zone hockey tournament

We are thrilled to announce that the incredible U14 girls’ hockey team of Delhi Public School – Mysore has secured a Bronze Medal at the CBSE South Zone Hockey Tournament held at Madikeri. In a competition marked by fierce rivalry, grit and unrelenting determination, our girls proved they were a force to be reckoned with.

From the very first whistle, our team showed their strength on the field—playing with precision and energy. Against strong and experienced opponents, our girls demonstrated not only their technical skills but also an indomitable team spirit, bringing pride and glory to our school.

Delhi Public School – Mysore emerges victorious in Fr. Jithesh Memorial Inter School Football Tournament-2024

In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, the students of Delhi Public School – Mysore clinched the winners’ trophy in the prestigious Fr. Jithesh Memorial U-16 category Inter School Football Tournament organized by De Paul Public School, Mahadevapura Road Mysore.

Our talented young footballers demonstrated exceptional prowess on the field, outplaying their opponents with strategic moves, swift passes and precise goals. Their dedication, discipline and sportsmanship shone throughout the tournament, making their victory a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals.

CRICKET
STAFF V/S STUDENTS

DPSM organized a friendly cricket match between students and teachers on July 6, 2023. The match began at 2:00 P.M. in the school premises, with the teaching staff showcasing their batting skills first. The faculty members participated enthusiastically and scored about 106 runs in 8 overs.

After a short while, the students of the school took to the field to display their batting proficiency and managed to score about 60 runs in 8 overs.

Nevertheless, there was cheering from both sides on the field. More than victory, participation brought satisfaction to all involved in such events. The players were at their maximum enthusiasm.

BASKETBALL

Explore our school’s basketball section, where students engage in the world of basketball with enthusiasm and dedication. Our program, led by experienced coaches and enthusiastic players, fosters a competitive yet supportive atmosphere for all skill levels.

An Inter-House Basketball match for girls from Grade IX to XII was conducted at the school on July 6, 2023. Students from all four houses participated enthusiastically, and the match was inaugurated by our Principal, Mrs. Manju Sharma.

The results of the match were as follows:

– Second place: Cauvery House
– Third place: Godavari House
– Fourth place: Ganga House

An Inter House Football match for boys in Grade IX to XII was held at the school on July 7, 2023. Students from all four houses participated with great enthusiasm. The match was inaugurated by our Principal, Mrs. Manju Sharma.

CLASS 6 TO 8

It is rightly said, “The real cricket talent emerges from young blood and schools”.

Our school organized an Inter-house Cricket Tournament on 18th of August. The final match was between Godavari house and Narmada house. Nevertheless, there was cheering from both sides on the field as more than victory, participation gives satisfaction in such events. The players were at their maximum enthusiasm.
