Best Institution Award in NCC
Delhi Public School Mysore, has been awarded the prestigious Best Institution Award in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) for its outstanding performance, discipline, and contribution to NCC activities. The award was presented at Christ College held at Bengaluru on 04/02/2025. Where DPS Mysore, NCC Land Army from 13/KAR /BN received the esteemed ‘Best Institution’ Award. ANO, T.O Mamatha Prasad, with senior mistress, Mrs.Meena Rai graciously accepted the award.The institution has consistently set high standards under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Manju Sharma in NCC activities, with cadets excelling in camps, drills, adventure training, and community service. Being guided by the ANO Mamatha Prasad, the cadets have demonstrated outstanding dedication, teamwork, and leadership.
Principal Mrs. Manju Sharma expressed pride in the achievement, saying, “This award is a testament to the hard work, discipline, and commitment of our NCC cadets and instructors. An Inter-House Basketball match for girls from Grade IX to XII was conducted at the school on July 6, 2023. Students from all four houses participated enthusiastically, and the match was inaugurated by our Principal, Mrs. Manju Sharma.
The results of the match were as follows:
– First place: Narmada House
– Second place: Cauvery House
– Third place: Godavari House
– Fourth place: Ganga House

After a short while, the students of the school took to the field to display their batting proficiency and managed to score about 60 runs in 8 overs.
Nevertheless, there was cheering from both sides on the field. More than victory, participation brought satisfaction to all involved in such events. The players were at their maximum enthusiasm.

The boys’ team from Delhi Public School – Mysore, outshone 30 schools with remarkable skill, teamwork and determination to claim the coveted title in the tournament organized by Vedike Sports Rotary Mysore. Battling through tough competition, they secured victories against St. Arnold’s, Excel Public, ACME and Pramathi in the early rounds. In the thrilling final, DPSM set a strong target of 50/4 in 5 overs and restricted KNC Innovative to 32/5, clinching a commanding 18-run win.

Our school organized an Inter-house Cricket Tournament on 18th of August. The final match was between Godavari house and Narmada house. Nevertheless, there was cheering from both sides on the field as more than victory, participation gives satisfaction in such events. The players were at their maximum enthusiasm.
