To celebrate the spirit of mathematical learning, experience the joy of the mathematical sphere and to explore various mathematical concepts in a creative manner, and to commemorate the birthday of the Indian mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan, Mathematics Day was celebrated at Delhi Public School, Mysore on Saturday, 5th December 2020.

The programme   started with an introduction   about the biography of Ramanujan. Interesting activities were planned for various classes. Making a Robot using different mathematical shapes was conducted for Grades 1 and 2. The kids enjoyed making the robots and they also spoke about the different shapes in their robot.

The activities planned for Mathematics day were informative, engaging and entertaining. This made the Math day celebration a fruitful experience for the students at Delhi Public School, Mysore.
