“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” – Mahatma Gandhi
World Animal Day is a fantastic opportunity for children of all ages to learn more about the importance of animal welfare and to enhance their relationship with animals.
As part of the International celebration of World Animal Welfare Day, observed on 4th October, the students at DPSM realised the important role that both wild and domestic animals play in their lives. We believe that regardless of age, children will benefit from the activities conducted and the simple message that all animals deserve a good standard of welfare and quality of care.
To generate a sense of responsibility towards animals the students were indulged in activities like talk show, puppetry etc
